Entry ways are often the most heavily soiled areas of carpet in the home. The simplest yet most effective step in keeping these high traffic areas from becoming heavily soiled is to use entry mats.
Entry mats will remove most soil that would otherwise get tracked onto your carpet, but it is important to vacuum them frequently in order for them to remain effective.
