Thanksgiving Tips and Tricks!
1. Plan your menu, print recipes, cut out magazine recipes, grab cookbooks.
2. Make your grocery list. Try to get your shopping done in one day.
3. Clean your refrigerator to make roam for groceries.
4. About 4 days before Turkey day, check your turkey to see how long it needs to be thawed. A thawed turkey can last up to 4 days in the frig.
5. About a day or two prior, prep ingredients like cutting onions, celery and carrots.
6. The day before T-day or even two days before make your dips, spreads and butters.
7. Set your table the night before.
8. Use your Crockpot to make simple recipes like caramelized apples, soups and potatoes. This will be a time saver when dinner time comes.
9. On Thanksgiving morning, just plan accordingly to cooking times of your food. Remember the longer the cooked turkey sits, the juicer it gets.
10. Relax, it’s about family, friends and being together!
